Better, healthier and more productive workspaces.
THE WAY YOU WORK IS CHANGING
We believe that most office spaces are not optimised for people’s varying demands. This is a cost for businesses, often unidentified and hidden. We work to create workspaces that make you more effective, keep you healthy and boost your work. How? By putting people in the centre and basing design decisions on research.
We analyse and define your Office DNA
DESIGN BASED ON SCIENCE
By carefully analysing and measuring your organisation’s working patterns, preferences and requirements, we identify and map your Office DNA. We gather the hard and soft facts of your particular working needs both quantitatively and qualitatively, through questionnaires, diaries, interviews and workshops. On top of that we measure technical values, such as air quality, noise levels, light conditions and temperature to compare them to the perceived indoor environmental qualities.
Creating a smart and sustainable office
THE BASIS FOR YOUR FUTURE WORK
What you get from us is a workspace design that is suited for your needs – either for an existing office, a new office construction or as an assessment of your existing working environment. Based on your Office DNA, customised designs are proposed in a comprehensive report. Interior designers, architects, property owners and facility managers can use this as a foundation to create the optimal workplace for your organisation.
The Furbish Process
1. Mapping patterns and preferences
FINDING OUT WHAT MAKES YOUR ORGANISATION UNIQUE
The opinions and preferences of your employees are gathered through methodical instruments such as workshops, interviews and our easy-to use digital log book tool. The data is then combined with thorough technical measurements of air quality, temperature, acoustics and light in your office.
2. Defining your Office DNA
DEFINING THE BASIS FOR CHANGE AND SUCCESSFUL COOPERATION
With your data collected and founded in our unique database, we create a map of your organisation’s working patterns and needs, something we call your Office DNA. This DNA is very special for you and will affect how we propose to design your future workplace.
3. Designing a supportive workspace
STARTING WITH PEOPLE, DESIGNING ACCORDINGLY
We create an attractive work environment that is both tailored to your needs and part of a sustainable working future. On top, our method provides the basis for certifying your office according to WELL or other sustainability certification systems.
